It does not leave any trace elements in the medium to be filtered. The vacuum connection is a multi-stepped tubing ferrule with sealing screw, adjustable to suit the most common vacuum tubing bores (6 and 8 mm). The NS 29/32 socket provides a perfectly tight seal onto a similarly socketed, round-bottom flask made of PTFE, PFA or glass (please note vacuum compatibility). Supplied without membrane filter. Suitable for 47 mm diameter membranes, filter area 13.8 cm², sample funnel volume: 125 ml.
